Edinbrook Elementary is located in Brooklyn Park and serves approximately 700 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Our mission-driven staff fosters a student-centered environment where learning, hard work, love and kindness take center stage.

Edinbrook builds community through through schoolwide celebrations, service projects, family engagement events and more. We work hard to ensure every child has a rich elementary experience and benefits from academic, leadership and co-curricular opportunities.

Support to grow as lifelong learners

At Edinbrook Elementary, we work with all scholars to provide appropriate academic support and rigor. From gifted education opportunities to services that support learners with special needs, our caring educators help each individual student succeed and lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. We help all children achieve at high levels and thrive socially and emotionally.

All Edinbrook scholars also benefit from AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) programming that enhances students' academic skills and inspires them to achieve their post-secondary dreams.

We offer a variety of activities for Edinbrook Scotties, including:

  • Band, choir and orchestra
  • Student Council
  • D.A.R.E.
  • Scottie Club, an after-school program that provides enrichment opportunities ranging from academic assistance to dance

Safe and healthy school climate

Edinbrook Elementary is a positive, safe, welcoming, warm and challenging learning environment focused on meeting individual growth targets for all students. Staff meet regularly to discuss student growth, performance and need, and provide individualized support based on those discussions.

We also teach schoolwide expectations and recognize students for demonstrating the positive behaviors of respect, responsibility and resourcefulness.
