The Early Childhood program in Osseo Area Schools provides high quality, developmentally appropriate classes and opportunities for all young children and their families. Early Childhood staff are committed to providing safe and nurturing environments that promote the physical, social, emotional, aesthetic, intellectual, and language development of each child—while being sensitive to the unique needs and preferences of families.
 

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) helps set the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Most classes include time for children and families to grow and learn together, as well as time for children to explore independent learning while parents/guardians explore insights and resources from licensed educators.

Early Childhood Special Education

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) provides opportunities for growth and support of children and their families. Any child between birth and five years with a demonstrated developmental delay and who meets certain eligibility criteria can receive services.

Preschool and Prekindergarten

We offer tuition-free and fee-based preschool and prekindergarten classes for children ages 3-5. These early learning opportunities help prepare scholars for success in kindergarten and beyond.
